Chain-of-Custody (CoC) applications

Tracking of timber logs from log landing area to log yard and to border of designated forest management areas. PoiMapper can be used to link logs to particular tree stumps or haulage batches, including registration of log tags, GPS co-ordinates and time stamps. We are investigating RFID solutions for integration with CoC processes.

Forest monitoring

Forest monitoring and inventory can be done by using PoiMapper to collect data about areas and trees with data forms, multimedia data, location coordinates and time stamps. Forest monitoring with PoiMapper can help future forest strategy planning with fresh forest data and mapping of illegal logging areas. The same process is applicable for agricultural use cases, such as collecting agriculture data and market data (e.g. prices).
